If you have a scanner you can easily keep digital copies of all your important documents when travelling. Just scan in copies of your passport, driver's licence, visas and customer service phone numbers for your bank and credit card companies. Store the files on a USB drive. Storing the digital data on a secure, password-protected online storage site is another option.
